A former Director of Golden Gate University's Graduate School of Taxation, Mr. Monsour brings real-world tax knowledge to his seminars. With over 20 years of practical experience as managing partner of a regional accounting firm and CFO of a multinational corporation, Ed has taught tax courses at leading universities in the country. He has the unique ability to take the most complex tax issues and make them understandable and professionally useful. Ed, currently an associate professor of accounting at Cal State Los Angeles, has been teaching college courses for more than 30 years. During the summer months, he teaches financial and managerial accounting at Korea University in Seoul, Korea. Ed incorporates humor and real life anecdotes into his classes to keep dry topics interesting and practical.
Mr. Monsour has authored accounting books, developed accounting curriculum and spoken at national conferences, as well as having his articles published in numerous publications. Ed is a member of the AAA-CPA and the American Accounting Association.
