Trust Funding and the Living Trust
What do you do after a client
deceases? This course examines living trust basics,
fiduciary tax returns and splitting the living trust
into the after-death trusts. Completed forms and sample
A/B trust funding documents will be reviewed. California
Trust laws also covered.
Instructor Robert Manton,
CPA, is a partner with the firm of
Stowell-McNally Corp./McNally Manton. His specialty is
in estate and trust taxation. Having developed a diverse
range of expertise in this area for more than 15 years,
Bob heads this department for the firm. Attendees will
appreciate his workshop approach from a tax preparer's
perspective. Mr. Manton's knowledge in fiduciary
accounting and trust division/allocation will be

related to fraud detection by increasing the amount of

the risk of association with fraudulently misstated

Instructor Mark
Dauberman, CPA, provides CPE and staff training
for CPA firms and private industry on topics such as
fraud, auditing, strategic planning, and practice
management. Mark spent nearly 30 years preparing
candidates for the CPA exam and recently served as
director of the audit practice and partner at NSBN, a
CPA firm where he was responsible for recruiting,
training, business development, quality control, and
strategic planning. He is enrolled in the Executive MBA
program at the Drucker School of Management at Claremont
Graduate University.
